Okay, we’re not saying that this should be the only one, but it could be a great and unique addition to your other gifts for graduation. Whether it’s for high school or college this is a gift that will be useful for starting out by keeping it simple. This is Dr. Seuss and let’s face it, this is always good advice and memorable, it doesn’t matter how old you are. We need advice that’s simple. This is the best advice for graduates……keep it simple and have a sense of humor. Make this a little something that will be remembered……always.

This is A New York Times bestseller! FOR A REASON.

The one and only Dr. Seuss dispenses invaluable advice about life in this collection of his most memorable quotes. Featuring over sixty pages of cherished Seuss art and quotes from such classics as The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hatches the Egg, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, and many more, this humorous and inspiring collection is, indeed, a perfect gift for those just starting out . . . or those who are already on their way!

Have a sense of humor and keep it simple. This is a great gift for anybody that is graduating and it will be remembered. And yes, you should also get them something more expensive, but this is a great addition.

Edward H. Carroll says:

`A book of common sense from a man who wrote about non-sense.’ Dr. Seuss is unfortunately looked over by some people as just a guy who wrote silly little children’s books. That may be partially true, but all of his books had a much deeper meaning if you are willing to be open-minded and take a closer look. His work is brilliant and outlandishly creative; so much so that he is recognized as the creator of the word `Nerd’ in the English language when the word was first featured in his 1950 book `If I Ran the Zoo.’ Some people believe that it is unfair to take quotes from his work after his death and related it to `lessons of life’ the way this book does and that the quotes have no relation at all to what they are connected with. I don’t believe that is true at all; I believe that he wrote these stories with the exact meaning they are realted too, which is why his books are brilliant. Here are two of my favorite quotes from the book so you can judge for yourself…

Witty and Refreshing I’m giving this book to 10 middle managers – while initially they’ll probably think it’s childish, once they read it they will understand why they received it. Seuss gives us all a simplified view of life and applying the basics to home and work. I also highly recommend everyone read “Open Your Mind, Open Your Life: A Little Book of Wisdom” by Taro Gold.
