Not as good as last year’s model. Still better than everyone else. Last year’s Under Armour Heat Gear Sonic Long Sleeve Shirts were definitely a five star product. However, I think this year’s model is not as good.

NO compression & bad sizing = too big & frustrating!!! I don’t know what has happened to Under Armour in the last few years. I own a LOT of their compression gear for working out and mitigating neuromuscular pain. The heatgear compression shirts of like 5 years ago were AWESOME — they provide a great amount of compression (like a massage all over), look great and make me feel locked in and protected when I work out somehow. I think it’s the fabric composition — heatgear used to be nylon/elastene, but in the past 2 years or so the heatgear fabric has switched to polyester/elastene. It makes a big difference IMO. This shirt is comfy as a baselayer but provides basically no compression. And GUESS WHAT? I went a whole size down! I’m squarely in the Large in the sizing chart, but last year I bought a large Heatgear Sonic “compression” shirt and it does absolutely nothing. So this shirt is a medium and it STILL doesn’t provide enough compression as far as I’m concerned. I *almost* bought a small because my old heatgear…

My son is 6’4″ and 350#. Got the largest … My son is 6’4″ and 350#. Got the largest size for under football jersey. It fit him….I didn’t think it would. Pleasant surprise.
