Challenging and Rewarding First of all I received the product for free from Spin Master to review. I have a 8 year old son (he will be 9 in November) for age reference. When we received it he was super excited to get started. The box is well organized with different parts separated by dividers. The instruction book was easily understood by my son and myself. We decided to assemble the Meccasaur as a father and son project. The assembly took us several hours working together. We were pleasantly surprised at the size Meccasaur. The toy has several functions but my son absolutely loves the “eight ball” feature. He loves the way it interacts with him when he asks it yes or no questions. He also enjoys the interactive features like how it reacts when he pets the toy, and the occasional farting noise it makes if left alone. One Star After my son put this together it would just fall over. Didn’t work as expected.

Frustrating This toy is extreamly hard to put together, it will take you upwards of 10 hour and about 5 tantrums to get this guy built. If you want your kid to have fun building opt for a Lego.
