A great idea but a little small I bought this pool for my 18-month-old daughter, mainly because I was tired of patching the blow up pool. The pros of this product are the sturdiness, the umbrella, and the toys. The con is that the pool is really too small. The picture of the product shows a child whose legs are folded as she sits on the seat. If she were to stretch out her legs, they would cover much of the remaining surface area of the pool and that other child really would not fit in there with her! I would only recommend this product for a very small child who does not want to play with other children in the pool.

Just perfect for our BIG one year old A lot of reviewers said this thing was too small so I was hesitant about it since our just-turned-one year old is on the bigger side (25lbs. 32inches long) and is used to floating and swimming with assistance in big pools. I thought maybe it would just seem stupid to him. But he just loves it. I think the size is perfect for the stage he’s at right now. He can sit and play with various bath/water floating toys and not feel overwhelmed. The umbrella toys are awesome too! The water wheel just captivates him and the cups are not stationary so he has to line them up right in order to make it work. I like that it challenges him. On the first day he figured out how to climb in and out on his own too, which just made it so much more fun to him as he could find other toys to bring in. And the best part is the fact that it’s molded plastic vs. an inflatable pool. This thing is mega sturdy! I can think of tons of uses for it when summers over- ball pit, sand box, DIY magnetic fishing game…
