Do not buy! Bought this item for my 2 year old son. He has been using swimmies with a tube. Saw this item in a store and thought it was a great idea. Used it 4th of July 2012. As he was swimming along, both swimmies fell right off his arms. The waist part of it got heavy and expanded. So upset with the fact that this item has not been recalled! Do not buy it!! I am in the process of getting it recalled.

NOT US life guard approved I bought this swim device for my daughter and the product works but please be aware! It does not have the US life guard stamp of approval on it, so it may not be accepted at some pools! They will not even let you bring it into the facility! I have been looking for a float device like this with the detachable arms but it seems if they do detach, they are not life guard approved. Just an FYI, as you may not be able to use it as planned.
