Great for astrophtographers. If you shoot at night you are probably familiar with the problem of your lenses fogging up. You can use a rubber band and wrap one of these around the barrel of your lens and it will help contain the dew. It isn’t a 100% perfect solution, but it does help quite a bit. Plus, it’s just nice to be able to warm your hands every now and then while out in the field at 3 am.

Great warmers that last a long time. My husband and I use these for hiking and skiing. The larger size is great because they can be felt through pockets and really work for freezing fingertips. My advice is to wear thin mittens over gloves, that way you can stick the warmers in the mittens and reach the fingertips, while still being able to hold poles.

Works well to keep hands warm in pockets As other reviewers stated, the temperature does not get too hot, just warm, but was good enough for snow temps. The size was decent, a little large to place within gloves but perfect for pockets. Also, they can be prolonged to last longer if placed within a plastic ‘ziploc’ bag with the air squeezed out. At ~.60 cents a piece was a good buy.Update:Expiration on the ones I received are 10-2019Size is 3.5″ x 5″
